  • Social Media/Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, building, and implementing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms. You will use organic search campaigns, paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and other channels to increase brand awareness, build member and partners relationships and generate leads for successful collaboration and fundraising.   • Assist with visual design for marketing materials such as marketing collateral, emails, signage, branded items and more.

  • Work closely with the DIT board to coordinate all programs and social events. Coordinate all details of events including preparation of kitchen orders, event notes, rentals and beverage orders. Organize all logistics for events including floor plans, and other services needed; ensure that all requirements are communicated to all stakeholders.

  • Provide guidance, advice, feedback and support to a mentee of Dominican heritage. Serving as a role model, teacher, counselor, advisor, sponsor, advocate and ally to help them succeed in the technology industry.

  • Design and implement comprehensive development strategies to secure financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in fundraising, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to inspire and engage donors in DIT's mission.

  • Grant Writer will help research, identify, and solicit new and current funding sources for DIT. They will develop persuasive proposals and other materials for cultivation and funder stewardship. The Grant Writer will work with program staff on grant implementation and reporting. A successful candidate will have strong writing and communications skills and a creative interest in developing and testing strategies for securing new funding to accelerate DIT's mission.

  • A mission driven leader with a commitment to technology and STEM education to provide transformative educational and tech programming. Responsible for managing the delivery of educational workshops and community events for members; recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers; managing internal communications; supporting youth programming initiatives; and tracking the mission effectiveness of DIT. Collaborates with other program staff and community partners to ensure that the programming and support offered at DIT is responsive to DIT membership and its community.
